In an effort to do so, $2 from every Brave Bear sold goes back into the LGBTQ community. Check out our current featured organization or nominate one of your own favorites.

Point of Pride works to benefit transgender people in need through gender-affirming support programs that empower them to live more authentically.
Point of Pride offers an Annual Transgender Surgery Fund, a chest binder donation program, a trans femme shapewear donation program, an Electrolysis Support Program, and other community-building support initiatives for trans youth and adults in need around the world.

Softserved Gentleman, Dean, spreads kindness and transgender visibility both in his local community and through his online platforms worldwide. Follow Softserved Gentleman on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube where he shares transgender resources and his own experiences as a transman.
Brave Bear supported Softserved Gentleman in his Holiday Gift Box giveaway, which supports trans folks during what can be a difficult holiday season.

Team Trans Ice Hockey, is the first international collective of hockey players, all of whom identify as transgender. Growing up unable to play with the team that matched their gender identity, many players felt out of place or left out in their sport. Many feel out of place as adults playing in a predominately cishet sport. Team Trans Ice Hockey exists to give those players a team where they can feel accepted as they are for who they are. The Mission of Twin Cities Pride is to empower every LGBTQ+ person to live as their true self. They envision a future where all LGBTQ+ people are valued and celebrated for who they are. Twin Cities Pride hosts an annual parade and festival. Brave Bear is a Rainbow Circle Member. Support Twin Cities Pride’s year-round community programming and education by becoming a Rainbow Circle Member too!

*The Unicorn Classic is an annual hockey game in the Twin Cities that raises funds for LGBTQ+ non-profits in Minnesota.*

Avenues for Youth supports youth ages 16-24 in Minneapolis, MN. Whether a young person needs someplace to stay for just one night, or a year and a half. Avenues empowers youth to find their path out of homelessness.

Team Trans Twin Cities Hockey, is the first local chapter of Team Trans Ice Hockey. All members of Team Trans Twin Cities identify as transgender and/or non-binary. Team Trans Twin Cities hosts a yearly Pride game and annual winter season.
